TPMS training courses –
fit for TPMS service

Our current training program
Regulation ECE-R 64 provides that all newly registered vehicles must be equipped with tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS). This also has an impact on the work processes in the tire service and vehicle maintenance area. Tire stores and service centers now have to deal with the installation of tire pressure monitoring systems in addition to the rest of their work. BH SENS offers the knowledge and training programs needed to handle this load. With the help of our training materials, we’ll show you in theory and practice everything you need to know to run a successful TPMS service. Our product training is aimed not only at BH SENS products, but also all other tire pressure sensors and TPMS service products. The training sessions are tailored to your individual needs.

Duration: 9:00 am – approx. 3:30 pm

Prerequisite for participants:

Participants are required to have a basic knowledge of tire service. The training is particularly suitable for tire fitters from the tire trade and automotive repair shops. The training consists of both a theoretical and a practical section which address the following topics:


TPMS-Theory

  • Explanation of the legal requirements and background
  • Different methods of TPMS measurement (direct, indirect)
  • Classification of OE and UVS sensors/differences
  • Re-organizing operations in the service center
  • Presentation of the various TPMS units
  • Questions and answers


Practice

  • Diagnosis of sensors
  • Incoming and outgoing checks
  • Maintenance and repair of sensors
  • Copying and creating UVS sensors
  • Teaching the sensors to the vehicle
  • Training materials:

     - Participants will receive written training materials on the topic of TPMS
     - Installation instructions for the Huf IntelliSens, poster for the service center and
     - The TPMS book “Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems”1
