The use of TPMS not only reduces the wear rate of the tires, but also increases vehicle safety. That is why TPMS systems have been required by law for passenger cars since 2012. From July 2022, the use will be mandatory for all new commercial vehicle type approvals. Newly approved commercial vehicles must be equipped with TPMS from July 2024.
With this background, BH SENS has developed the programmable IntelliSens Universal Sensor UVS01HD, especially for the independent aftermarket. This sensor is manufactured and tested according to OEM standards, just like the original sensors. The assembly is carried out on the TPMS valve and is identical to the bolting concept of the commercial vehicle manufacturers. Sensor protocols can be subsequently imported via an integrated update function.A suitable addition is the TPMS diagnostic device DT24HD, including OBD-II module. It enables the testing, programming and relearn of TPMS sensors. UVS01HD and DT24HD are therefore optimal system solutions for TPMS service in commercial vehicles.
Since 2006 BH SENS has been supplying TPMS for commercial vehicles worldwide.
BH SENS develops not only retrofittable, but also highly integrated systems for vehicle manufacturers. What unites these diverse, modular systems is their high robustness. "We want our customers to be able to rely on our system even in heat, rain and ice," says Thomas Kienzle, Product Manager at BH SENS.
